Mating/Rerproduction

• Song used mostly to attract mates

• Birds that sing the most are probably unmated males

• Songs delivered from an open perch, and consists of the bird’s typical
chip note repeated 3 or 4 times, followed by a descending and decelerating
trill

• A faint warbling song can be heard at times

• Male and females when paired will stay together for life
