Habitat/Migration
Common in brushy habitats from Southern Oregon to Baja California and from the Pacific Inland to the foothills of the cascades and the Sierra Nevada
Vegetation they live on is usually Chaparral followed by Riparian thickets of alder and willow
Permanent residents
Nests are sited in dense foliage in shrubs or trees within 4-12 feet from the ground
Nesting occurs from mid-April through June
Eggs are a bluish green color
They have anywhere from 3-4 eggs at a time
