A variety of domestic animals are found on Cal Poly's land, ranging
from the normal dog and cat population to Cal Poly's own flock of
sheep. Most pertinent to Cal Poly Land is the livestock that are
housed on campus.
There are six major ranches that house Cal Poly's livestock- Peterson Ranch, Chorro Creek Ranch, Serrano Ranch, Swanton Pacific Ranch, Escuela Ranch and Walter's Ranch.
