Temperatures throughout the year in San Luis Obispo are fairly mild. During the day, the temperatures range from the mid 50's to the high 70's. Night time gets noticeably cooler. Since we are close to the coast here at Cal Poly (about 10 miles), fog and cooler temperatures from the coast roll in each afternoon. High temperatures throughout the year fluctuate much more than the low temperatures do.
