Humidity
Seasons Changes

Humidity usually refers to the moisture level in the air. Usually high humidity can be quite uncomfortable when your outdoors. During the spring season at Cal Poly there are typically few humid days. However, throughout the spring season from, April to June, you will see slight increases of humidity.

The following journal entry is a brief account of a humid day at Cal Poly

May 21, 2005

As I walked outside, I felt the sun’s ray’s pound on my skin. It was blistering hot and I could not escape to the shade. The less clothing the better when it is sticky out!! Shorts, a tank top, and a hat are all you need! And, remember your sunscreen!

If you check out www.sloweather.com you can get an up to date reading on the humidity for the day.
