We four set out on a mission -- we wanted to know what was happening in Poly Canyon at night, we wanted to know what the animals are up to, and we're not just talking about the students... After many night hikes and information gathering sessions with teachers and web searches we felt we made a cooperative effort at discovering the interesting and amazing habits of the nocturnal animals and plant life surrounding us here at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

After our first meeting, we all discovered we had different ideas of what "Nightlife in Poly Canyon" really meant. Instead of battling with each other about what we would include on the web site we decided to each look into a field of study that interested us individually and then bring it all together in one giant collaborative work at the end. Many brief progress-checking meetings ensued, followed by intense web site preparation and putting all of our information on the server, which is much more challenging than it sounds!

After all is said and done, we are all very happy with what we have accomplished. We set out with a goal and a vision, and here it is! Up for the world to see! Please share with us the adventure, the mystery, the love, and the pleasure working and living on Cal Poly Land
