At the time of the creation of this web site I will just be finishing my junior year at Cal Poly, SLO. After majoring in Modern Languages and Literature, put simply Spanish and French, I have finally come to the conclusion that I don't want to take any more language classes! I thought long and hard about what I would like to change my major to and I finally came to the conclusion that Social Sciences fits my personality much better. I have always wanted to be an elementary school teacher, but I also realized that I am very interested in social work too. My Grandmother was one of the founders of Family Connection Adoptions, eventually passing the title of Director on to my mom. Although I still plan on pursuing my dream of becoming a teacher, I would someday like to get a Masters of Social Work and possibly work for the family business. Adoption has always fascinated me, and I truly cannot think of a more rewarding career than finding children loving homes.
