When birders plan to go bird watching they need to know many things besides the birds they will see. Knowing what locations for birding there are on the Central Coast is one thing they need to know. Birding tips are also very useful, like what to take and when to go. Our bird watching experience when we went to Poly Canyon was made easier with these tips. Tips and comments given to us by Dr. Rubba in our interview with her also helped us to be prepared. Planning ahead of time before setting off to go bird watching is very helpful!
