The Equine Science minor has been designed through the Animal
Science Department for students interested in developing knowledge
and competency within this field. Through this minor, students
have the chance to be exposed to various tangents of the horse
industry, including equine training, reproduction, husbandry,
and the basics of farm management. All together students can walk
away from this minor with the knowledge and the skills necessary
to succeed in the equine industry.
All students enrolled at Cal Poly may apply for this minor. If
