From the Poly Canyon Gate, continue up the road. To the left you will see the Feed Mill, the Horseshoeing Unit and the Beef Unit. Watch out for Western Poison Oak on both sides of the road! You will know you are about half way to the rest area when you notice a trail on your right (above picture) leading up to the Poly Mountain "P", and Blue Gum trees to your left.

Poly Canyon is a favorite spot for many students, faculty, and staff to hike, walk, or run (below).
