CIMIS

The Cal Poly CIMIS station is located near the H16 parking lot and is responsible for the information reported back for the San Luis Obispo data.

CIMIS

CIMIS stations are located all over California they are responsible for recording information and sending it to the CIMIS database.

The CIMIS site gathers all the information gathered from all the stations around California and allows Internet users to access information. The CIMIS site allows you to view the data in monthly, daily, hourly increments, such as the one below.

Other useful information can be found on the Cal Poly Land site with Professor Del Dingus' writings of soil sciences. The Soils Chapter provides the history of Cal Poly water, its resources, and information about recycling water.
