| Therefore,
it is no coincidence that early pictures of the campus always have
a train! Trains going this way, that way… One technical detail is that it is still (today) a single line (for both directions- with significant capacity, speed and safety consequences)! You may have
notice the inappropriate drive-by sound. That, and the screeching
brakes were the only transportation sounds readily available.
There is no train sound canned in power-point. Why? You will understand
after we look at the next slide…
