of San Luis Obispo Community Development Department
The San Luis Obispo Community Development Department
is responsible for administering the city’s planning and
construction regulation programs; zoning, building permits, housing
subdivisions, and the General Plan.
The San
Luis Obispo City General Plan Digest contains specific land
use policies that address Student and Campus Housing (see LU 2.7,
