Cal Poly Animal Science:

Unit Relocations & Renovations

For a larger image of the Master Plan Map, click here

Cal Poly's increasing student population has forced the university to make plans to build new student housing along Brizzolara Creek. Currently, the Animal Science Department's Beef Center and Bull Test site, Meats Processing Facility, and Nutrition Center are along the Brizzolara Creek. Due to the future student housing plans, these units will be relocated to more remote areas of campus. Because of the remote locations, there is concern for student transportation to the units, and the time to travel to the units, which could effect instruction time. In addition to the unit relocations, the Animal Science Department has been involved in some changes and renovations occurring at the Equine Center. This website will address these concerns and provide information for those wishing to learn more about the unit relocations and current and future upgrades.
