Cal Poly is lucky enough to keep its average above 45% of each month, with no clouds in their skies throughout the entire year. The fluctuation is not too dramatic, only varying, 10% throughout the entire year. The partly cloudy days makes a noticeable jump during the dry summer seasons, not because there is less sunshine, but because the amount of precipitation and overcast days drop dramatically. But the days of a heavy overcast, run almost parallel to the amount of precipitation at that time, only having a 5% difference between them.
