We Do Bees!

This website introduces Cal Poly's Bee Unit.

It also provides general information about bees and beekeeping:

Honeybees are vital organisms in the environment, pollinating both horticultural and agricultural crops. Honeybees are valued as pollinators as well as honey producers.

Cal Poly's Bee Unit offers instruction in both queen bee and honey production.

Honey from Cal Poly's 100 bee hives and 5 million bees is produced during the fall and spring quarters. Jars of this sweet treat are sold throughout the year at the Campus Market and Poly Plant Shop. Source
