The Greenhouse:

This was built by Mark Allen Jenefsky and advised by Jens Pohl from 1983-1989. All of the elements of this have not yet been completed, however, currently, it is a fairly standard working greenhouse. The intention was to control ventilation and water from campus but that didn't work out so far. Still to be completed is the installation of the eutectic salt panels, an automated watering system, an automated venting system, and more plant beds. Once finished, the eutectic salt panels will absorb the day's heat, and the material inside the panels will turn to liquid. In the evening, the material will harden, giving off heat in the process. This will stabilize the interior temperature.
