ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

This management plan could not have been completed without the contributions of many individuals.  I wish to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Douglas Donaldson and Dr. Roger Gambs for their guidance throughout the process of developing this management plan, and to Professor Robert Rutherford for his tremendous contributions to my understanding of the issues involved in the management of livestock.

I would also like to thank the undergraduate students who conducted field surveys:  Amy Anderson, Carrie Black, Alexandra Campbell, Richard Carmona, Richard Carroll, Neil Clipperton, Dan Cordova, David Domin, Cara Drake, Cletis England, Frank Fermer, Niloufar Gary, Anthony Giordano, Nathaniel Graveline, Cary Gudgeon, Larry Markle, Donald MacGill, Amy Palkovic, Jason Patterson, Frank Raya, Brandy Russ, Travis Tanaka, Elizabeth Weaver, Bob Wilkerson, and Darlene Woodbury.  Suffice it to say that this plan would not be completed today without their efforts and contributions and their drive to be part of something meaningful for the future of wildlife.

Most of all, I would like to thank all those individuals who throughout my education and the preparation of this plan believed not only in my abilities and determination, but also in the value of preserving and enhancing wildlife for future generations.
